All Frogs Ranking in Pesticide Not Required – There are lots of frog characters in the game. In this guide, we rank Finn, Beans, Joe, Bubba, and Co based on their values and ability.

All Frogs Ranking in Pesticide Not Required Tier S

Finn

Simply the best frog in the game. It scales incredibly well as its fishing yield bonus allows you to level out quickly, and once you get fishing speed on it, the rest of your run is a breeze. Its only significant drawback is that it starts with a lackluster initial attack.

Sir Hopselot

Like Finn, he measures incredibly well. However, his requires you to get the right buffs from your levels, and that added RNG only limits his viability compared to Finn.

Beans

Just like the other two frogs, Bean performs well and even gets you the right buffs. Damage and Attack Size are two of the most important stats and their scaling is great. It’s also nice that Bean’s attack frequency isn’t limited to a low base stat, so you can counter that loss.

All Frogs Ranking in Pesticide Not Required Tier A

Joe

Despite being a starting character, Joe is great and is capable of winning tier 4 seasons. This is due to having attack frequency and XP gain without any drawbacks. It doesn’t have the best scaling, but the XP gain allows you to pay off the upgrades you get from higher levels.

Greg from accounting

Greg scales amazingly if you can get past the first few days, but the +30% shop prices can make him scale slowly at first, but if you can handle it, you’re guaranteed one of the biggest coin generators. in the game which can also help by giving some heavy damages to bosses and enemies.

Bubba

While Bubba isn’t that good at dealing damage, he does a really good job of not dying, especially if you’ve leveled up your frogs’ durability and HP gain. It’s also nice that you can pick up upgrades that reduce movement speed at will without worrying about his one trait.

Truffle

Truffle has a lot of great aspects and even the downsides of other enemy spawns can be seen as an advantage when it comes to coin farming.

The problem with Truffle though is that he wants you to farm your crops during the day and kill enemies at night.

This is not the most feasible as most crops will take until night to grow and may force you to avoid the farm area at night until you can grab them and go to the merchant.

Penelhoppe

No character can start running like Penelope. If you manage to get an early movement speed buff, you can instantly get a full day of 1 fishing and mining slots with plenty of time to farm crops.

However, she can’t get any resistance and can be vulnerable to big hits in the late game if you get surrounded.

All Frogs Ranking in Pesticide Not Required Tier B

Collier

Collier is the mining twin of Finn and even has a better starting attack.

He’s 2 levels down though, since neither cares about non-weapon crops, you don’t need his mining buff much.

So unlike Finn who can start power leveling from scratch, Collier is stuck deciding how to earn coins from mining or try to get upgrades by slowly upgrading farming or fishing.

Hue Mann

He’s great at scaling for the late game. But it also comes with the huge disadvantage that its damage is only reduced by 50% and has -500% Crit damage.

This can prevent him from dealing with bosses and only being able to deal with mobs of enemies.

Trowel

This is a frog that focuses on farming, but in a much different way than the others, as you gain your experience mostly by watering instead of harvesting.

So crops that generally grow fast and need a lot of water can give Squeegee some early levels. It just has no way to increase its damage outside of earned upgrades.

Billybob

It scales really well if you’re going for a farm build and has a lot of late game potential. However, you need to use gems to get the Crop Growth Speed buff into your pantry to have any hope of reaching the endgame for him, as he is very weak to begin with.

All Frogs Ranking in Pesticide Not Required Level C

Stripe

Stripe is one of the most unique frogs, but that also holds him back.

He’s a frog who pose to be jack of all trade for stuffs like mining and fishing but he has a bad RNG that won’t allow him to scale the best because he has no scaling to his attacks despite starting with the best attack in the game.

Furog

Furog is another interesting frog that wants to be at low HP while farming and then heal from Apple drops.

However, relying on the apple build can be tricky as there aren’t many upgrades that support this build, but if it’s worth it, you can create one of the highest regen frogs possible.

Another setback observed in this character is the absence of damage scaling

Mignon

Mignon can be a lot of fun if you are someone who likes to use pets to help you.

Mignon has one of the easiest first days of any character, as you’ll have turrets and a cat to help you kill enemies while the other animals farm.

This allows Mignon to concentrate on mining and fishing. If you are able to get good drops out of it, you can scale really well.

However, if you fail to get useful upgrades, you’re left with a low-damage character that can’t deal with swarming.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin sounds good when you first start reading their stats, but the negatives really affect this frog’s abilities.

The crit chance and damage can be nice, but the damage doesn’t scale as much as you’d like because the -50% damage change prevents you from being able to hit really high crits.

For a better result, it is better to upgrade the crit to a character like Bean or Sir Hopselot.

Swifts

Swifty is a frog with a very glassy cannon construction.

This is mostly because their most notable state is temporary.

Fast ants to grow a bunch of fast growing crops to kill enemies for coins, but not being able to increase your crop yield also prevents you from scaling enough and gaining the necessary levels to keep up with the toughest enemies as you will have fewer upgrades.

Sprout

Sprout can deal a lot of damage if things go right, but it suffers a lot in the early game due to its -50% attack size and -50% damage increase. So it’s easy to overpower him quickly if you can’t get a good buff for him early on.

Plot

Plotty is basically just a worse version of Mignon, Truffle or Penelhoppe.

He wants to invest as much as possible in growing his farm, but has no damage, income scaling, and is completely dependent on not reaping what is sown until it can be replaced.

You are also limited to +96% mining and fishing speed as there is no way to get more than 48 parcels.

All Frogs Ranking in Pesticide Not Required Tier F

Doctor Hopps

This is just a worse version of Furoga.

Unlike Furoga, who can get regeneration if you invest enough in it, and gets healing from apples, Dr. Hopps is completely unable to get regeneration and also gets a massive -70% healing from apples.

Enemies will also overwhelm him quickly as he has a -50% attack rate with no easy way to increase his damage.

James Pond

This frog has the highest skill cap in the game. I won’t deny that. His buffs are incredible, but he rides on one fatal flaw, and that is his HP is literally 1.

You get 1 free hit per day, but usually if you’re in a level 4 season, you’ll get hit. more than once to enemies in an instant, so the shield may not exist since you don’t get I-frames after losing it.

It’s a shame that the hardest frog to unlock is also the worst.
