If you are just starting out, let me explain what the game has to offer and how you can understand the difference between all the classes and troop squads.
The game currently has 14 classes, most of which are divided into different ‘Class Levels’.
The classes are as follows:Rifleman
A basic soldier in your army
Both Semi-automatic and bolt action rifles can be used.
Mortarman
Least useful class imo
Both Semi-automatic and bolt action rifles can be used.
He can also use a mortar as a secondary weapon. They are not the most effective weapons because you want to go in the heat of battle to get as many points as possible.
Sniper
A good situational soldier
He can use all the weapons that a rifleman can use, with the addition of scopes.
There are some good semi-automatic firearms towards the end of each nation/faction’s research.
AT Gunner
Tank Destroyer
He can use all the weapons that a rifleman can use
In addition, you can use an anti-tank weapon, which can offer you as an infantryman a better range to destroy enemy tanks. Destroying vehicles gives you more points than just killing soldiers.
Attacker
The best soldier for close range/close combat
Both Semi-automatic and bolt action rifles can be used + SMGs
[IMPORTANT] Engineer
Literally the most important soldier to have in every non-vehicle squad you have.
He can use all the weapons that a rifleman can use, with the addition of shotguns
He has a construction hammer. This tool is a wonder to win matches because you can build rally points that act as a respawn point for your entire team.
Gunner
‘mid-range striker’
He can use all the weapons that a rifleman can use with the addition of machine guns.
Medic
A ‘Tier 1’ attacker. Literally. Darkflow replaced Assaulter 1 Soldiers Mediky.
Can use semi-automatic rifles and bolt action rifles
Radio Operator
Artillery Caller.
He can use all the weapons that a shooter can use.
It has a radio tool that you can use to call in artillery strikes on the map.
Flametrooper
PYRO
Both Semi-automatic and bolt action rifles can be used.
You can also use the flamethrower, which is a great way to burn your enemies and laugh at them dancing while they’re hot.
Motorcyclist, aka Rider
Attackers who know how to ride motorcycles
He can use all the weapons that an Assaulter can use.
It has benefits that improve their vehicle handling.
Tanker
Mechanic 😀
Can handle all weapons that an Assaulter can use.
It has perks that improve their tank performance. (Management, charging, etc.)
[IMPORTANT] APC Driver
Biker but for APC
Can handle all weapons that an Assaulter can use.
It has advantages that improve their management.
Another important soldier as it is only found in APC units that offer your team a mobile spawn point.
Pilot
Ace in the sky
Can handle all weapons that an Assaulter can use.
It has benefits that improve the performance of their aircraft.
TLDR:
For most units, the most important soldiers are engineers (one is enough), followed by one radio operator, one anti-tank and attackers, as many attackers as you can fit.
Individual Soldier Use Cases:
Spawn with an engineer, get a good spot for a rally point, preferably flanking the enemy.
Build a gathering place, maybe even an ammo box.
Call in the artillery where you think the most enemies are. Usually between their spawn and the target, or right on the target if it’s not a building.
Switch to assaulter, order your squad somewhere safe by pressing X.
Hurry up. Get the killz. Die. Repeat with the next soldier.
If a tank, then AT Gunner -> Tank go boom. Score go brrr.
It’s also a good option to grind until you get one APC team, then you can use that team to get more points by having the APC in a good place for your teammates to spawn.
