How To Switch Back Game Versions In Soundpad
Like me who is also having a problem with the new Soundpad update (4.0.0)
I have a problem when I set my microphone to use the sound pad on my mic, the sound on my mic is so quiet that my friends on Discord can’t even hear me, and the mic level slider on the mic settings does nothing. All.
Let’s get straight to the pointBefore we begin Do not uninstall the currently installed version of Soundpad
Step 1 – Open the Steam Console
To download an older version of the soundpad, you must first open the Steam console by pressing Win + R and typing
steam://open/console and then the steam console will appear.
Step 2 – Download the older version of Soundpad
After entering the steam console there is a text box at the bottom of the screen, paste it into the text box
download_depot 629520 629521 4519935662256761195
then the console will start downloading and wait until the Depot download complete message appears.
Step 3 – Exchange Soundpad files
After the download of the older version of Soundpad is complete
go to steam\steamapps\content\app_629520\depot_629521
there is a soundbar file in this folder, copy all these files to the soundbar folder and replace all of them.
Step 4 – We’re finally done!
Now just launch Soundpad as usual and it should now be version 3.4.1 instead of 4.0.0
