Sky Children of the Light Beginner Basic Guide
Currencies
Candles
* Obtained by reliving spiritual memories – once only.
* Retrieved from Daily Light.* Obtained from daily quests.
Heart
* Obtained from spirits for free or for candles.
* Obtained from other players – they can send you one for 3 candles.
Ascended candles
* Obtained in Eye of Eden.
* Obtained through a specific event – with a limit per day.
In general, they should save for time-limited things, beware of premature spending.
Chat
There are several ways to chat with players.
Chat unlock via friend tree – most expensive – 7 candles in total.
Benches and such – free, but with a limited time – until the candle burns out. There are also spots that are not limited in time.
Shared Spaces – Free with unlimited time, requires finding a shared space with a prop to sit at, such as a table.
Player-set props – similar to props in shared spaces – watch out for more experienced players who will set them up to chat with you..
Friend Code – Doesn’t really need you sitting at a predefined place, free and unlimited time.
If you are starting the game with your friends, you will need the Friend Codes because they can save candles.
Danger
There are situations where you can lose some of your Winged Light, which will eventually reduce the number of flaps you can make with your wing, so be aware of your surroundings.
If you think you’re stuck, you can always return home and try again using the “Return to Previous Location” feature.
