All Ship Locations In X4 Foundations – This guide does not contain any story spoilers.
If you read on, it obviously spoils the locations of discoverable ships, and I’ve added minor spoiler notes to the game where appropriate – for those who like to come prepared. 🙂
All Ship Locations In X4 Foundations (SPOILERS)
At the end I will have a brief description of the ships that cannot be obtained through normal discovery, but I won’t go into detail on how to get them.
Cutlass
Location: Heretic’s End
Odachi
Location: Getsu Fune
Sapporo
Location: Mists of Artemis
Note: It can be difficult to claim until you have at least one destroyer to destroy the Kha’ak hive and its defense platforms.
Elite Sport
Location: CEO’s Doubt
Kestrel Sport
Location: Freedom’s Reach
Minor Game Spoiler: The navigation beacons from the screenshot are near warp anomalies that are interconnected. Look at it!
Theseus Sport
Location: Moo-Kye’s Revenge
Minor Gameplay Spoiler: Xenon stations may not have turrets, at least they didn’t in my run. But there are weaponized xenon asteroids that are not visible from the map and radar. Watch your back!
Xenon B
Location: Monument to Antigone
Xenon F
Location: Nopileos’ Fortune II
Xenon H
Location: Tharka’s Cascade XV
Minor Gameplay Spoiler: The H may not have full gear, so don’t expect it to take you out of combat. But if you do – enjoy the fireworks! 🙂
Valuable Cache
Location: Black Hole Sun V
Notes: The ruins I came across had their own loot crate, although they “only” had two safety cutters.
Minor gameplay spoiler (reward): The 10-lock cache had four advanced seminars for 4-star crew – two for pilot skills, two for management skills – and a Kyon Crystal in it.
Since I haven’t seen any reports on other players yet, I’m assuming the reward is static and the same for all players, but can vary depending on player progress and other factors.
Other ships and Outro
There are two other ships that have been added to the Open Universe through DLC – the iconic Xperimental shuttle and the Dart racing ship. Both can only be unlocked by completing the story DLC.
