Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide (Bosses & Day Types) – Before you start the slaughter, (but after the main menu, of course) there are a few things you’ll want to do. Why? Because I said so.

Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide (Bosses & Day Types)

You’re only reading this to hear what I have to say, or maybe the game will piss you off. What was I talking about…? Sure, before the game.

First:

Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide

CONTRAST UP.

Trust me, it makes the game a lot easier because it brightens up your game without having annoying side effects. And you save flashlights for the flashlight, so a plus.

Secondly: Farmer

Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide

Yes, it is stuck to the wall. Yes, he’s missing a leg. No, you can’t help him. No, he’s not hurt.

Even if you shoot him, which isn’t just a mechanic, it will energize. How?

You will be rewarded for it. I won’t tell you what the reward is because I have to keep some things secret for you to know.

Know that you can shoot him in the head, the leg stump, and the balls.

Yes you read that right. Shooting your buddy in the balls is a thing you can do in this game, and it’s fun.

Anyway, the best way to start the game is to shoot him as much as possible, and of course you’ll need to be close to get the best aim.

Okay, now that you’ve gone through your foreplay, I’ll explain some of the other fun mechanics in this game.

Know your enemy – Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide

Despite your enemies being pigs of all things, they still put up a decent fight.

Here I’ll explain the different types and some strategies to combat them.

(Note that the images shown only cover a few skins. They are in more colors than just black and white.)

We start with Normal Pigs.

Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide

We all know them and love them for different reasons.

Whether you love them or their bacon, you’re here to fill them with lead. (Sorry, not sorry vegans!) They’re relatively easy to kill, but I’m going to talk about them anyway.

First, don’t stop shooting until they go down.

Just because you shot someone’s head off doesn’t mean they’re dead. (Sort of.)

If you can pull it off, shooting the stock usually results in a one-shot kill. Why? Good question.

Maybe the bullet gives them ULTRA LEAD POISONING when it penetrates them or something.

Are you still going to ask about the specifics of a pig’s rear end, or do I have to stop this guide?

Exactly.

Next up are the Metal Pigs, or “Metalheads” as I like to call them.

Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide
Simply put: They’re annoying. (Not as annoying as me, though. >:D) How the pig managed to go nuts while still being one of the ugliest creatures God ever created, I’ll never know, but I do know this:

You don’t need a different strategy for them. They are literally ordinary pigs with more health. Just lay on them and you’ll be fine.

Then we have skeletons.

Undead Pigs, Baconless Bones, “HOW DID YOU GET ME?!?! AGGAHGAHH!” What do you want to call them.

They are literally pigs with worse health. Their weakness is literally everything.

Most of the time these will be one-shot kills.

The only problem is that there are usually a ton of them. Did I say problem? I meant more fun because it’s oddly satisfying to mow down a whole pack of them. Am I a monster? Probably.

Now that you know what you’re up against, here are some tips.

First, Always. Watches. Yours. Rear. These morons just love to sneak up on you. Not in a gay way, but in a “I’ll stab you in the stomach and steal your kidneys before you know I’m here” way. They don’t make much noise, so the best way to prevent sneak attacks is to not be blind enough for them to occur. Pay attention to your surroundings and you’ll be fine.

Second, moving diagonally is faster than moving forward. Why? No idea. It’s an old game, it’s a mechanic in a lot of old games.

Third, you can jump on top of enemies. It doesn’t hurt, but it helps you look awesome by painting the farm red.

Move away from the enemies, there are some scattered devices to help you hurt them.

The first thing to note is the water pumps.

You can interact with them to heal yourself a bit as hydration is key.

The thing is, you don’t have to stay with them to heal, you can just interact with them as you run past them.

They can dry out now, but you have to use them 15 times each, so if you’re not a glutton, you’ll be fine.

Finally, control of the electric fence.

Activate this and the electric fence in the center of the map will activate.

If the pig touches it when it activates, it will be locked in place until it deactivates, so it will be fried to a crisp.

Really useful at the start of the round or when you see him going through a big group.

Thing is, it won’t instakill bosses and you can only use it a few times before it stops working for the day.

Otherwise, it’s a solid tactic.

There is another device called

Grinder – Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide

Yes, I have created a separate section for this. What will you do with it? Exactly.

The grinder looks a bit like this.

It is very simple to use. Just hit the right side of the corpse and it will desecrate it enough to turn into items to help you. Yes, the “currency” of this game is ground meat.

You may be asking yourself, “Why?” Well, I have a better and more responsible question. How do you get items from it and what do they do? Simple. There is such a display on the left side.

Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide

The red bar at the top shows how much blood is stored.

Despite having a bar, there’s no limit to how much blood can be stored, and since there’s a lack of communism, you can keep it all to yourself.

Shoot the button to get the item. It will show how much blood you lose by buying it, then press the arrow button to get the item.

Why do you shoot buttons instead of pressing them? I don’t know, maybe the machine was designed by an American.

The first, cheapest, and easiest purchase is to add ammo to your primary weapon. Kind of useless except for bosses, as weapon selection automatically refills ammo.

Another is the good old American pineapple, more commonly known as a pomegranate.

You can have a maximum of 10. Just click and throw, or hold to “cook” so it explodes sooner.

It explodes on a timer or when it hits a pig.

Note that the grenade doesn’t just follow an arc, it moves relative to your movement.

If you move sideways, it will move diagonally. If you’re moving backwards, it won’t go very far.

If you go forward, it will go even further. You can also blow yourself up. You know, for fun!

Next is milk. Boar’s milk. From the little carton they use for school lunches.

You can also have a maximum of 10.

Drinking one will allow you to run very fast and jump higher than a crack addict.

I guess useful if you want to speedrun.

Next up is a can of ham, more commonly known as buff soup. You can have a maximum of 5.

The soup probably contains spinach, as this will cause your melee attacks to deal more damage and have a bit more punch for a while.

It’s definitely helpful to have a few on hand.

Then there are Bounce-Back pills. You can only carry 2, but for good reason.

When your health runs out, you don’t die instantly, you just fall down.

You can be revived by another player, or you can use Bounce-Back pills to revive yourself.

You can also use them to get tip messages going as he really doesn’t want you to use them standing up.

The last item is an extra rocket for your rocket launcher. Self-explanatory.

Types of Days.

While the premise of this game may be straightforward, it will still throw curveballs at you by changing what happens every day. The farmer won’t explain it to them, so I will.

These days are random and can contain any number of pigs.

Normal days.

Pigs. Sometimes metalheads or skeletons. Not much else to say.

Metalhead days.

Simply put, just normal days with more metalheads.

Big days.

Basically normal days with one big difference. Literally. All pigs are bigger and have better health. Great time to use the grinder as larger bodies give more blood.

Small days.

During them, pigs are much faster, have less health, and are about the size of a 3-month-old fetus.

B-hopping is key during them as you can easily jump over them at this size.

Days of Revenge.

The only days the farmer actually tells you about.

Not only do your guns have infinite ammo, but they also suck pigs.

It gets better, not only do they die, they also explode, so you’ll want to choose weapons with a high rate of fire.

Night days.

That’s why I told you to increase the contrast.

They are primarily dark, so increasing the contrast helps a lot.

Another major difference is that most of the pigs are replaced by skeletons, so it’s like V2’s Day of Vengeance.

Stampede Days.

During these, the pigs decide to group up and run through the farm instead of standing still.

There are usually more than 100 of them as well, so you’ll want to gradually eliminate the herds.

Miniboss days.

No, not bosses, (which I’ll get to in a moment.) These days are very, very rare.

There are usually a small number of regular pigs, but there is also a larger pig that has a lot of health.

You can tell him from others by the bones sticking out of his back.

If you see one, save your primary ammo until you can confront it.

Bosses – Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide

Pigs that managed to beat the rest of the pigs to become boss pigs.

There are 2 different bosses that evolve somewhat each time you encounter them.

Boss 1 arrives on day 10, boss 2 arrives on day 20, boss 1 returns on day 30, etc.

Boss 1.

Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide
Annoying for many reasons.

First, because their names have no similarity, so I have to label them as “Boss 1.” But also because he can talk.

The only thing is that he cannot be silent.

He has the audacity to stand right outside the barn door and wait for you to leave so he can threaten you and make a tactical retreat.

Then he screams and talks until you finally give him fatal lead poisoning.

He has several attacks. His first is to simply charge you up.

The only problem is that it’s so big it’s practically unavoidable.

But not completely inevitable.

If you have enough milk, you’ll want to use it because you’ll become fast enough to break his ankles, CoryXKenshin style.

His second attack makes him jump and create a fiery shockwave around him.

You can’t completely jump over it, so it’s best to just back away from where you see him land.

His third (and most annoying) “attack” will make him jump onto the roof of one of the buildings and say something in reverse, heal him somehow.

However, you can stop it and set it on fire by throwing a grenade at it.

The key difference between each of the versions is that they have slightly more health and there is one more each time.

They all have the same attacks, but can perform them independently.

Fortunately, they can’t heal or revive each other, so you can focus on one or whittle them all down one by one.

Now to Boss 2, the princess.

Blood and Bacon Gameplay Guide

The fattest, ugliest, grossest pig that ever existed.

First, you can only hurt her if you’re close enough because you have to feel as hard as possible in the game. Why am I saying this?

Her main attacks consist of barfing and pooping on you.

Legitimately. I wish I was making this up. It would be best to stay on her side and start using your pistol.

If she moves, you move too. She can’t hit you when you’re on her side.

If there is too much barf and diarrhea on the screen, you can remove her by pressing T.

Once she gets close to 3/4 of her health, aim for her head or ass.

Once it gets down to 3/4 and you shoot one of these spots, it will open up and reveal weak spots that will deal much more damage if you shoot them. At 1/3 (I think..) the same thing happens to every ending you haven’t hit before, which is why you’ll want to save your primary ammo for when they are revealed.

However, once you open her first weak point, she gains 2 new attacks.

Her first new attack is to spam the “Rotate Z” button and pull you closer to her. If you have the ability to hold S, do so, as that’s all it takes to prevent this.

Her next new attack makes her jump and perform a lowered mario ground pound. However, it is so thick that it causes a shock wave. You can’t jump over it, so your best bet is to make a tactical retreat.

Once her health bar is depleted, she goes into the most annoying state. You have to wait for her to jump, shoot her heart and run away from the shockwave, then repeat 4 more times.

Not hard by any means, just annoying.
