Dying Light 2 Reloaded Edition Tower-Raid Mission Guide – This guide will walk you through the mission and how you can beat them.
Dying Light 2 Reloaded Edition Tower-Raid Mission Guide
First you need to complete the side quest “The Lost Armory“.
To activate it, you must have access to the central loop and complete at least the main quest “Orders“.After you do this, it may take a while for Jai to talk to you over the radio and ask for your help.
Join him near the “Fish Eye“.
Note: Starting a new NG+ (after you’ve already done some of Jai’s missions) will keep your progress and tokens, but you have to replay “The Lost Armory” side quest before you can access the missions and Jai’s shop.
This also means you get the weapon a second time.
The same thing happens when playing this mission in co-op.
Since you cannot dispose of weapons at this time, they will remain in your inventory.
Survivor Mission
After completing the quest, you unlocked Jai’s office to access 9 Surviver missions as well as 3 daily and 5 weekly rewards.
Since the weekly rewards are always the same until now, the daily ones are changing a bit.
You can play regular missions in normal or Elite, but Tower Raid only in normal..
There are mission boards scattered all over the map – marked with orange writing.
You can play the missions as a single player or in co-op.
Awarding rewards earns you RP to level up and gain access to better guns, weapons, and gear
The Tower Raid
You can now switch between regular missions and Tower Raid on missions.
All you have to do is fight your way through 3 different floors to the roof.
There you will find an Airdrop with good loot. Tower Raid can be played solo or in co-op.
But beware: As this is an open beta version, Tower Raid can only be played until 7/18/2024.
Be Prepared
Carry plenty of medkits, UV flares and (repaired) weapons as you have to fight hordes of enemies.
Only at the beginning you can avoid some fights. Just run and slide through the roller doors, turn to the lelt and activate the elevator to reach the next floor.
When you leave the elevator, all you have to do is get to the next one – just follow the sign.
But on your way to the next elevator, you have to go through different combinations of floors with random different obstacles and objectives.
Sometimes you need to move the closet…
Sometimes you have to destroy barricades or find a key card on the table or by looting a special infected that you have to kill first.
In addition, you will also have different modifiers for each run. It will affect (positively or negatively) players, enemies, or both – sometimes positively and sometimes negatively.
Reaching the roof
After finding the rooftop dropout, the hardest part of the Tower Raid begins.
Now you have to defend her for 5 minutes against Biters, Virals and other Special Infected in an attempt to destroy the landing party.
If they are successful, you will fail the mission and have to start over.
If you find it hard, you can always change the difficulty in the Menu.
