I’ll show you how to use your mouse position to create homing attacks to take out enemies from a safe distance and use sustained damage to melt bosses in seconds.

WARNING: This may trivialize a lot of the combat in the game, but it can shed light on a lot of fun things you can do with the tools provided when creating a spell early in the game.

In the beginning. . .

Just put a decimal point on this repeat and everything inside is FREE. No mana, no problem! You are now unstoppable if you choose to wield this power.

Playing Within Limits

Okay, so maybe you don’t want to become an unstoppable force.

Maybe you wish you had some more challenge. Some tips for optimization:

– Orbit is your best friend for mana efficiency

– Sharp and Ignite are the only valid aspect types; Enchant drops really fast

– Ignition Links damage anything in the beam over time and subsequently deal permanent damage. This builds up and can melt things quickly!

– Sometimes it’s actually a good idea to freeze the balls in place

Additionally, here are some spells that I found useful:

Fire Rune:

This spell works and uses some subtle adjustments to place the rune around the mouse location.

This spell melted every boss in seconds, including the last one. It is late game because it requires:

– Set fire

– Sharp

– Multiply speed

– Connect

– Spawn on Offset

Swirling Blade

Basic whirlwind attack in final form.

Requires:

– Circulate

– Set fire

– Spawn on Offset

For the finite region

Magic Bullet

Requires:
