How To Use Compass to Find Missed Collectables In The Big Catch Tacklebox
Here is a world map that I spent way too long making, I hope it helps someone.
I didn’t include coin placement as that would get crowded quickly, but with the numeric count and the new metal detection feature of the compass, that shouldn’t be a problem. How to track lost collectibles with a compass
As of update 1.0.3, the compass now allows you to target collectibles you missed.
The compass is displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen while sandsurfing, and you can also bring it up so it’s always visible by pressing the D-Pad down.
By default, it simply points north. However, once you exceed certain thresholds, it will alert you to collectibles you’ve missed:
Once you have collected at least 17 fish, the dead fish skeleton in the compass will start to pulse faster and faster as you get closer to the fish.
Once you have collected at least 480 coins, the big ball in the compass will start to pulse faster and faster as you get closer to the coin.
