Shapeshifter is a cheat role among us and allows you to transform into any crew in the lobby.
This is an extremely useful role in the game, and by the time the guide is finished, you’ll be a pro at being a shapeshifter.
How to use it
To use the shapeshifter role, all you have to do is click on the button that says Shift.
An in-game screen will then appear and show the crew on your server.
All you do is tap on the person or group you want to change to, and now that person is you.
This means you get whatever they are wearing, their color and name. And don’t forget whatever pet they have, you get that too.
Where to use it
You want to change to an empty space so no one can see you because there is an effect when you transform into a crew.
You can prevent the crew from seeing more of you if you enter a room where the door can be sabotaged.
If one of the crew is there with you, just kill him.
Also watch out for engineers as they can watch you from the vents if the server you are connecting to has the engineer role enabled.
Just hide away from ventilation and shapeshifting.
When to use it
You want to use it when no one is around.
After you change shape, go hunting and when you find the target yourself, kill them.
If one appears, act like you’re running away from the body so they think it’s the crew you moved into.
Killing a person in a group is a gift because no rogue would ever kill in a group, not even with 2 people.
It is rare for people to mistakenly click as fraudsters.
Starting A Big Fight
If all goes according to plan, a fight will begin between the witness or witnesses, since crew members can travel in groups, and the person you moved into.
The person you moved in with will have no idea why people are blaming him when he probably wasn’t anywhere near the body, Even though the person you moved in with may have been with another person and that person will defend the culprit.
So make sure the person you’re moving to is somewhere they’re locked up alone, away, then kill and charge the moved crew.
