Warning: Needless to say there will be heavy spoilers. Try to find them for yourself first before reading.
Dredge The Iron Rig 100% Achievement Guide
Those in Dredge: The Pale Reach
If you finish Dredge: The Pale Reach, you’re in luck. The Aurorus Anchor is a big help in this DLC and you can cut down on travel time significantly by dropping the Anchor under the Rig for easy movement back and forth.Missing Shipment
To get the first achievement, you must deliver a lost Ironhaven Crate to Foreman. Just southwest of the rig is a wreck containing them, marked with a small gold oil rig stamp.
Remedial Apparatus
To get this achievement, buy and equip the Engineer’s Siphon Trawler at the Tier 2 Factory.
Enhanced Abilities
To get this achievement, buy a mechanic’s flashlight, foghorn, and upgraded spyglass at a Tier 1 Tech Lab.
Shadowed Splashes
To get this achievement, go to the scene of an oil spill and cause an oil spill to explode nearby or cause that war god’s oil nightmare to explode near your boat. You can get black splash by doing this, but collecting it will negatively affect your mood. Five of them were collected and paid to Siddhi.
Dark Custodian
To get this achievement, you need to collect 10 black barrels. Use the Siphon Trawler to collect oil from oil spills around the map. Once enough is collected, it turns into a single black container. You will repeat yourself ten times and be rewarded with perfection. (Unlike Shadowed Splashes, you don’t need to have them all in your inventory.)
Hull: Industrial
To get this achievement, you must continue the story and meet with the Iron Haven Executive. He will allow you to do fleet services so you can raise your boat to the highest level. Buying the upgrade will reward you with making and spending a few crates and about $2,500.
Rig Architect
To get this upgrade, you’ll need to max out your rig by buying all the levels in each building. You can speed this up by investing in a content trawl network upfront.
This will free up the materials needed to build the Ironhaven box. Sometimes you can even walk through the ruins of Ironhaven and dig up chests.
The Iron Ruin
To unlock this achievement, you need to advance the story and destroy the rig’s defense system. The override blueprint can be obtained from the Stellar Bay scientist, and it will cost you a dark crate and canister.
The Gleaming Goliath
To get this breakthrough, you need to get angry and run away from oil encounters.
To do this, you need to go to an oil refinery with very little discrimination. At first, you see some oil squids and oil vibrators but eventually, the monster will reveal itself.
They are very slow so just run away and nothing is damaged. YOU MUST BAIT THE MONSTER INTO HER LUNGE ATTACK ANIMATION TO GET THE ACHIEVEMENT.
This can be done by using haste before going on the attack or simply by using the banish power-up. If done right, you may be rewarded in kind.
Exotic Exemplar
To get this achievement, you’ll need to take a foreign deviation. Fortunately, another update simplifies it by introducing aberrations and exotic tests.
Just get some exotic bait from the engineer, go to the region where the exotic is, cast the bait anywhere, and use the show power-up for a guaranteed deviation (as long as you’ve already seen the fish).
Ancient Angler
To get this upgrade, find and catch all the new fish species introduced in The Iron Rig update.
Keep in mind that there are multiple oil spills in the same region so if no fish are found in one oil spill, check the other three.
The newly introduced fish are as follows…

Primordial Deviations
To get the latter, you’ll need to catch up on any new variants introduced in The Iron Rig Update. This Progress will take a little longer than usual to figure out how you can’t force divergence in crab pot grabs.
The new deviations introduced are as follows…
#123 Plated Osteostracan
#124 Axial Matron

Bonus: Fish #230
Now some of you must be wondering, what happened to the scientists? Now that you’re done with the story, you can find the rig by using the aberration bait. You need to know that.
1. You must have completed all of the scientist’s fetch quests to complete the DLC.
2. You should only use a Hydraulic Rod and Encrusted Talisman (and a Radiant Trawl Net if you have one) to swipe the fish that are attracted to the bait.
3. The probability of a scientist finding it is very small. Keep trying.
4. Please don’t do distracting tests. Do at least five of them, hop on the rig and cast the save, then start hunting.
5. No fishing below the rig. Anywhere near the rig is good. (The attached photos show me looking for him near the window he jumped out of.)
Mystery: High Terror will reveal a secret commentary on Fish #230.
“In the sable depths, elder blood
seeps through the void: each
conquest of corruption
weakening the veil.
From host to host, it withers and
wanders, climbing towards the
clouding Sky.
Such transient flesh has no
hope of enduring the true Deep.”
