Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut Full Gallery Guide – A guide for new and returning players to help them fill that gallery. If you struggle to find that one elusive scene, hopefully, this guide will help you.

Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut Full Gallery Guide

This is a guide to help you fill out the Gallery (also referred to as “Memories” in-game), introduced in the Pristine Cut update. Finishing the Gallery is necessary to obtain the last achievement – “A Song to Remember”.

Most of these you’ll find as you play anyway, especially if you plan to 100% of the achievements.

So, despite its size, this guide is 95% redundant, but I saw people asking questions so I decided to compile this to the best of my ability.

And yes, I did have to reset my gallery. And yes, right before the full gallery achievement fix went live.

Also, I’m sorry for any mistakes. English isn’t my first language, and this is my first Steam guide.

A bit obvious, but MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT.

The system I used to refer to specific CGs/Memories: Row – Column “Hint”

For example, 2-3 “Find the Prisoner” refers to CG in the second row, third column with the shown hint “Find the Prisoner”.

If multiple CGs are unlocked by one action or a series of actions but they have different hints each, I will list them as such: 1-5, 2-1, and 2-2 or from 1-2 to 2-2.

If multiple CGs are unlocked by one action or a series of actions and they have the same hint, I will list them as such: 4-1 and 4-2 “It’s not a fight if you refuse to strike back”

I know this might seem confusing, but I think that as long as you have the gallery page before you, you can orient pretty easily with this system.

The Hero and The Princess

Most of these are self-explanatory and you will probably unlock them as you go through the relevant routes anyway so I’ll only explain the last 4 as they are the ones I saw at least some people have questions about.

3-5 “I thought you said she wasn’t armed!”
Go down the basement with the knife, steel your nerves and when prompted ask The Narrator “Are you sure she’s not armed?”. Then proceed to slay her.

4-1 “Get her to break her chains”
Go down the basement with the knife, steel your nerves, and then hesitate (either ask her to talk or proclaim that you aren’t dropping the knife). Proceed to slay the princess. When prompted, choose to flee the basement.

4-2 “Always leave means of easy egress”
Proceed to the basement without the knife. Go down the stairs and choose to either lie, admit to planning on slaying her, or proceed in silence. Choose to talk and then select the dialogue option to retrieve the knife. When back in the basement, choose to finish it and proceed without closing the door behind you.

4-3 “Everything would be so easy if you would do exactly as I say as quickly as you can”
Get the Good Ending. Aka get to the basement with the knife, do not hesitate and slay her. Proclaim she is dead, and go back up. When Hero asks you if you’re going to stay like this forever, say that you like it here.

The Spaces Between

As with the previous segment, you’ll get most (all but one) of these through normal gameplay. The only one worth noting CG here is:

2-4 “Damn both of you to incomplete existence”
Complete the ending associated with the “Just as you once were nothing” achievement. To do so, start a new game and proceed as normal. Once you reach any route (except The Stranger) in Chapter 2, turn around and leave. You can only do so in the woods. After witnessing a scene related to the ending, you will be reset as if you just started the route. Repeat this process until you get the ending.

The End of Everything

Once again, a self-explanatory section that consists of CGs related to the final confrontation of the game and fills out as you get various endings.

1-3 and 1-4 “Find your freedom as gods forever”
Join The Shifting Mound (associated achievements: “Through Conflict” and “There are no endings”).

2-2 “The end is never the end is never the end”
Enter the last (first?) basement with the knife. Talk to Her and listen to Her plan. Agree with it. (associated achievement: “You’re on a path in the woods”)

2-3 “Return to your beginning and slay her once and for all”
Pretty self-explanatory. Enter the last (first?) basement with the knife and slay Her.

2-4 and 2-5 “Leave with her, at the end of everything”
Self-explanatory. Enter the last (first?) basement without the knife and choose to leave with her (associated achievement: “And? What happens next?”).

3-1, 3-2, 3-3 and 3-4
Same as 1-5, 2-2, 2-4, and 2-3 respectively, but only if your first route was The Stranger.

3-5 “The fruits of your labor. A world free of death”
Slay the Princess at the Heart of The Shifting Mound (associated achievements: “A new and unending dawn” and “A new and unending dawn, and everyone hates you”).

Row 4 is associated with Your New World achievement/ending, introduced with Pristine Cut. You’ll get CGs 1 to 4 from just getting this ending. 5th you will get if last minute you choose to offer The Shifting Mound your hand instead.

Vessels

All galleries for routes have some similarities in structure:

  • The first few CGs (depending on the route could be from 1 to 4) are automatically unlocked as you enter the route and meet the Princess
  • penultimate few (usually 2) CGs are unlocked as you start the next route.

Do beware that the last CG(s) aka “See through her eyes at the end of everything” requires you to review all the routes you took with The Shifting Mound (“Let’s talk this through…” option). If you reach the end and then just join The Shifting Mound without any conversation, the last CG won’t unlock

The Adversary

1-3 “Ignore the whiners. If she blocks your attack, you just have to push harder”
Enter the basement with the knife and immediately attack her. When prompted, choose to push harder.1-4 “Here’s Princess!”
Run from her.1-5 and 2-1 “Die to her upstairs. Unarmed/Armed.”
Self-explanatory. 2-2 “Witness her resurrection”
Enter the basement with the knife and immediately attack her. When prompted, choose to push harder. While on the ground, either continue to attack or goad her into giving you a free shot (in the latter option, you have to choose to stay). Continue to attack/get up to unlock 4-3 and 4-4.2-3 “Goad her into giving you a free shot, and then take it”
Enter the basement with the knife and immediately attack her. When prompted, choose to push harder, and after she asks if you understand, choose any option besides unlodging the knife. While on the ground, ask if she’s jumping the gun a little. When she offers a free hit, take the opportunity. Continue to attack/get up to unlock 4-3 and 4-4.2-4 “Make an obscene gesture, possibly against your will”
Enter the basement with the knife. Tell her you are here to free her and then attempt to do so. When asked to choose between freeing and attacking her, choose the former. Fun fact: if you step closer before attempting to free her, you can see a close-up version of this CG.2-5 “That which cannot die is that which cannot die is that which cannot die”
Follow 2-2 or 2-3. When prompted, ask what ‘Close to untethering’ means. Join your Adversary to unlock 4-3 and 4-4.3-1 and 3-2
Self-explanatory. Go down the basement and attack her unarmed.3-3 “Hey, Princess… I didn’t hear no bell”
Get up after attacking her unarmed.3-4 “Sometimes you have to try and free people even if they don’t realize they want to be free”
Refer to 2-4 above and attempt to free her.3-5 “Agility is the only way to overcome pure strength”
Enter the basement with the knife. Talk to her before attacking. When prompted, choose to outmaneuver her 4-1 and 4-2 “It’s not a fight if you refuse to strike back”
Self-explanatory.

The Tower

1-3 “Resist a god through force of arms”
Self-explanatory. Go into the basement with the knife, keep refusing her (telling her your reasons or staying silent will not work), and then choose to slay her.1-4 “Resist a god through force of arms but ultimately succumb”
Follow 1-3 up until she kneels to you. Choose to pledge yourself to her.1-5 “Try to resist a god purely through a force of will. No weapons”
Self-explanatory. Go into the basement unarmed, and keep refusing her. You HAVE to take the “(Explore) N-no I won’t t-tell you” option before proceeding. Otherwise, there will be no option to refuse her.2-1 and 2-2 “Free a god to bring about the end of everything”
Pledge yourself to her. This is the only way to unlock 3-1 and 3-2.2-3, 2-4, and 2-5 “Fell a god”
Follow 1-3 to its logical conclusion.

The Spectre

The core difference in this route is whether you antagonize her or not.

1-4 and 1-5 “Let a spirit into your home”
Ask her what she wants. Let her possess you.

2-1, 2-2 and 2-3 “Free a lost soul”
After she possesses you, choose to leave the basement. This is the only way to unlock 4-2 and 4-3.

2-4 and 2-5 “Provoke an angry spirit”
Either antagonize her, repeatedly try to grab/slay her, refuse to let her possess you, or try to leave her in the basement.

3-1 and 3-2 “Take on a spirit and exorcise it from your body”
Take the knife with you and agree to the possession. Once she is in your body, slay her.

3-3 “A spirit checks for pulse”
Point out that you also died and question your corporeality.

3-4 “Attack a spirit with cold steel. No hesitation”
Self-explanatory. Go into the basement with the knife and try to slay her as soon as possible. If you keep trying to slay her, you’ll also unlock 2-4 and 2-5.

3-5 “Abandon spirit to its torment”
Self-explanatory. Try to leave the basement as soon as possible.

The Nightmare

Super straightforward.

1-4, 1-5, 2-1, and 2-2 “Set your nightmare loose upon the world”
Enter the basement, meet her, and lead her out. This is the only way to unlock 4-3 and 4-4.

2-3 and 2-4 “Get shoved into a bottomless pit”
Agree to lead her out, but when you reach the door (either out of the basement or out of the cabin) choose to slay her instead of opening it.

2-5 “Slay your only exit”
Go into the basement with the knife, and attempt to slay her.

Row 3 and 4-1 “See what’s behind the mask”
Either try to run away from her or choose to stay with your Nightmare.

The Razor

Major deviation in this route is based on whether you took the knife with you when you go down to meet the Razor for the first time.

1-3 “But her hands were behind her back!”
Go into the basement with the knife. Attempt to slay her.

1-4 “Okay. I’m bored”
Keep talking to her until she grows bored. Alternatively, try to leave.

1-5 “She said she wasn’t armed. So what’s the harm in getting a little closer?”
Approach her (you can do it as soon as you arrive).

2-4 “Call an ambulance… but not for me!”
Go into the basement unarmed. When meeting Razor again, choose to fight her.

2-5 “Make her blush”
When meeting Razor again, choose to flirt with her.

3-3 “Meet a mutual end”
You can only get this if you choose to take the knife with you in the first meeting with Razor. Gifting this vessel to The Shifting Mound will grant you 4-1 and 4-2.

3-4 and 3-5 “Empty your mind. Be formless. Shapeless. Like water”
You can only get this if you choose to be unarmed in the first meeting with Razor. Gifting this vessel to The Shifting Mound will grant you 4-3 and 4-4.

The Beast

1-3 “Get swallowed up by the beast”
When entering the basement, either stand still or attempt to talk to her. Also, some options to run for the stairs unlock this CG too.1-4 “Make your way to her heart and end this”
Go into the basement with the knife. Allow yourself to be swallowed. Immediately start digging into her with your steel claw. Proceed to slay her.1-5 “Free her”
Get swallowed and then agree to let her leave. This is the only way to unlock 3-5 and 4-1.2-4 “What great big eyes you have”
– Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut Full Gallery Guide
Dodge her first attack, then pretend to be dead. Will also unlock 1-3.2-5, 3-1, 3-2, and 3-4
Follow the instructions of Voice of the Hunted. Move and Survive when he tells you to. Keep dodging until you can dodge no longer.3-3 “That hurt. Are you just the cornered animal you seem to be, or could you be a rival?”
Dodge her first attack, then strike back. Will also unlock 2-1, 2-2, and 2-3.

The Witch

1-3 “Make a peace offering to someone you betrayed”
Enter the basement with the knife. Offer it to her as a sign of trust.1-4, 1-5, 2-1 and 2-2 “Fight dirty in confrontation”
Enter the basement with the knife. Choose to slay her.2-3 and 2-4 “Fight her until the world swallows you up”
Enter the basement with the knife. Choose to slay her, and then decide to go out fighting.2-5 “One of you has to go first. Might as well be you”
Talk to her until an option related to her chains appears. Then choose to leave the basement with her. Agree to go first.3-1 “One of you was always going to betray the other. Might as well be you doing the betraying”
Same as 2-5 but convince her to go first. Stab her in the back.

3-2, 3-3, 3-4, and 3-5 “You’re not turning your back to her”

Same as 3-1 but refuse to betray her.4-1 “The entire cabin is collapsing around you. Maybe the two of you should stop fighting?”
Enter the basement with the knife. Choose to slay her, and then decide to give up.

The Stranger

Just go through her route. Remember to exhaust all dialogue options, do not end the route before you split her into 5. The last CG might not unlock if you have her as the first Princess in the run.

The Prisoner

1-3, 1-4, 1-5, and 2-1 “I’m not locked in here with you. We’re both locked in here together.”
Sit with her where she tells you to sit. Ask about the free chain on the wall and then inspect it. This is the only way to unlock 3-3 and 3-4.2-2 “What could go wrong with handing you her weapon? She’s locked up.”
Enter the basement with the knife. Sit with her where she tells you to sit. Ask her what she wants you to do. Hand her the knife.2-3 “Successfully free her”
Follow 2-2. Take her head with you. This is the only way to unlock 3-5 and 4-1.2-4 and 2-5 “Enter a violent confrontation”
Either break her boundaries (refuse to sit where she tells you to, insist on cutting her out yourself, etc.) or attempt to slay her.3-1 “Slay her”
Self-evident.
3-2 “Receive vital evidence of Princess’ wrongdoings”
While in the woods before entering the cabin, speak with the Narrator. Ask him about the Princess and how she is meant to end the world. Check your pockets when promoted.

The Damsel

This route doesn’t beat around the bush.

1-3 and 1-4 “Free her from her bindings”
Self-evident. Rescue her.

1-5, 2-1 and 2-2 “Leave with her”
Self-evident. This is the only way to unlock 4-3.

2-3, 2-4, 2-5 and 3-1
After rescuing her, keep asking her what she wants. This is the only way to unlock 4-4.

3-2 “Slay her”
Self-evident.

– Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut Full Gallery Guide

3-3, 3-4, 3-5 “She’s changing! You have to slay her. Now!”
Enter the basement with the knife. After rescuing her, keep asking what she wants. After questioning her 4 times, slay her.

4-1 “Give her everything she didn’t know she wanted”
Either decide to leave but when up in the cabin change your mind and decide to stay OR become weirded out by her change after the aforementioned 4 questions and decide to stay

The Eye of the Needle

This route is affected by what you did in Adversary beforehand. If you just fight the Adversary but fail, you’ll enter the Eye of the Needle with Hunted. If you die trying to free Adversary, you will have Skeptic as your companion for this route.

1-4 and 2-1 “The only mistake you made last time was not pushing yourself hard enough”
Take the knife with you. Attack the Princess as soon as you see her.

2-2 and 2-3 “Give chase. The only way out is through the eye of the needle”
Taunt Princess into chasing you. If you don’t take the knife with you, she automatically starts to chase you.

2-4, 2-5, 3-1, 3-2, and 3-3 “Thread the eye of the needle and slay her once and for all”
Take the knife with you or pick it up during the chase. Make her chase you and when you are out of the cabin, slay her.

3-4 “With a skeptic companion, thread the eye of the needle and take her to the other side”

Start with Skeptic as outlined above. Make her chase you. When you reach the door, choose to free her.

3-5, 4-1, and 4-2 “Give chase but fail to thread the eye of the needle”
When going to the Princess, ignore the knife. When she is chasing you, choose to ignore the knife again and rush to the door. If you have Skeptic instead of Hunted, you NEED to choose to die at the door to get these CGs.

The Fury – Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut Full Gallery Guide

The Fury can be reached either through The Adversary or through The Tower. Depending on what path to Fury you took and what you did on said path, you’ll have different options available to you. If you come into Fury through Tower, you’ll have Stubborn and Broken with you. If you come into Fury through Adversary, depending on your actions, you will be accompanied either by Stubborn and Contrarian or Stubborn and Cold.

– Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut Full Gallery Guide

You get Cold if you deny Adversary through pacifism. You get Contrarian if you fight Adversary unarmed and keep getting up.

1-3, 1-4, 3-5, and 4-1 are unlocked through unraveling scenes, regardless of the path.

1-5 “The knife is still here, even after everything”
Have a Cold with you and take the knife before going to the basement. Let her unravel you, and after that, slay her.

2-1 “Give her your hand”
If you have Cold with you, let her unravel you. After that, give her your hand.

2-2 “I feel so cold. Is it because you’re gone?”
If you have Cold with you, let her unravel you. After that, leave her behind.

2-3 “If only you could remember what I remember. If only you weren’t so weak.”
If you have Contrarian with you, try fighting her (options that mention “Round three”) talking to her, or letting her end you. Give up as soon as it’s possible.

2-4 “A towering heart, wounded and alone. One that is familiar to you, if distant.”
Witness unraveling from start to finish with Broken by your side.

2-5 and 3-1
If you have Contrarian with you, try fighting her (options that mention “Round three”) talking to her, or letting her end you. Ignore her and push. Then keep advancing one step at a time.

3-2 and 3-3
If you have broken with you, take the knife before going to the basement. Attempt to talk with her or try to slay her. When prompted, realize that there is no time for words and step forth.

3-4 “Now, little bird, what was it that you wanted to tell me?”
If you have broken with you, take the knife before going to the basement. Try talking to Fury. After she crushes you, try talking again.

4-2 “And then the forces disappear. The bonds holding your cells together break”
Unlocked if you are fully unraveled by her while Cold is with you.

The Apotheosis

Depending on your actions in Tower, you can enter Apotheosis with either Contrarian or Paranoid.
Contrarian will be with you if during Tower you take the knife and choose to slay yourself.

Paranoid will be with you if you resist her without any weapons and don’t tell her of her destiny to destroy the world.

1-3 “Do it then. Show me what you think it takes to end what’s destined to end everything.”
Pick up the knife and attempt to attack her.

1-4 “Allow an ungrounded voice to tap into your potential”
Continuation of 1-3 with Paranoid.

1-5 “Walk the razor’s edge between courage and madness”
Continuation of 1-4.

2-1 “Overpower a psychic barrier”
Continuation of 1-5. Choose to push harder.

2-2 “Make her feel what you have felt”
Continuation of 1-5. Choose to fight back.

2-3 “Her touch is soft”
Choose to embrace her.

2-4 “Carve into her divine heart”
Continuation of 1-3 with Contrarian.

2-5 “Give a spiteful reminder to an arrogant god”
Continuation of 2-4. Choose to throw the knife into her eye.

3-1 “Watch as the kindling of your soul burns to ash”
Continuation of 2-5.

3-2 and 3-3.
Continuation of 1-5. Ask why can’t you choose to win. Alternatively, you can embrace her but in a crucial moment choose to make her suffer.

3-4, 3-5, 4-1 and 4-2
After embracing her, suffer her actions in silence. Then witness her greatness, her downfall… and her last kindness to the only one she ever knew.

The Princess and the Dragon – Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut Full Gallery Guide

A major contributing factor in this route will be whether you were kind or harsh to Spectre in the previous route.

This is reflected in hints by referring to either a “gentle” or “harsh” companion. Visually it’s represented by a gentle Princess using light pink text and a harsh Princess using redder text.

1-5 “Reveal your identity to some old friends. A brash enough host might do it for you.”
As the hint suggests, Gentle Princess will reveal it only if you ask her to, Harsh Princess might bring it up herself or only vaguely say that she knows that decider is missing, if asked not to reveal it.

2-1 “Keep your identity hidden from some old friends. Might require a more receptive host”
Same as 1-5.

2-2 “Abandon a gentle companion to her fate”
When you return to your body in the Gentle Princess path, choose to leave the basement.

2-3 “What once was one, then was two…”
Stab or get stabbed after returning to your body.

2-4 “And then was one again”
Continuation of 2-3. You can unlock 4-4 only after giving Her the vessel that went through this.

2-5 “Welcome back! I’m so disappointed in you”
The Dragon stabs you and the Harsh Princess.

3-1 “Fail to disarm harsh companion”
Either begs Harsh Princess to wait or say nothing.

3-2 “Welcome back! Life is all about taking the easy wins, isn’t it?”
The Dragon stabs you and the Gentle Princess.

3-3 “Attempt to free a gentle companion on your own”
Refuse to give Gentle Princess the knife and try to cut her out yourself.

3-4 “Leave with a harsh companion”
After returning to your body, encourage Harsh Princess to kill you.

3-4 “Leave with gentle companion”
After returning to your body, give the knife to Gentle Princess.

4-1 “Step into your freedom, together”
Self-explanatory.

The Wraith

There is precisely one choice in this route that is relevant to Gallery: whether you throw yourself into the abyss or let Wraith “leave”. You have to actively refuse the possession for one of the CGs to unlock (credit to Chicken0w0 for the info!)

The Moment of Clarity

Very linear so will fill out as you clear the route.

The Den – Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut Full Gallery Guide

Once again, different Voices depending on your actions in the previous chapter. Stubborn will join you in The Den if you strike The Beast back; Skeptic will join you if you dodge The Beast until you can’t continue.

1-3 “To be torn between thought and action is to hesitate. And to hesitate is to die”
With Skeptic, step into the shadows “ready” to fight. Alternatively, do the same with Stubborn without picking up the knife.

1-4 and 1-5 “Reject instinct. Fight her to the end”
Continuation of 4-1. With Stubborn, refuse to give into instinct.

2-1, 2-2 and 4-2
Continuation of 4-1. Stubborn, gives in instinct when fighting the beast in her Den.

2-3 “Now that she’s stuck, nothing is stopping you from ending this.”
With Skeptic and the knife in hand, step into the shadows to lure her out. When she is stuck, keep the knife hidden, approach her, and strike her heart.

2-4 “I told you not to flinch, I told you”

Ignore Hunted’s advice and flinch when approaching the stuck beast. Alternatively, offer her your hand while still holding the knife.

2-5 “Your work is done. Leave her to starve”
With Skeptic, step into the shadows to lure her out. When she is stuck, turns to leave. Alternatively, if you didn’t take the knife with you, go to retrieve it after the beast is stuck.

3-1 “Wait in silence for your end”
Continuation of 2-5. Self-evident.

3-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5
With Skeptic, step into the shadows to lure her out. When she is stuck, drop the knife (if you took it) and approach her. Offer her your hand.

4-1 “Reach the crossroads of will and instinct”
With Stubborn and the knife in hand, step into the shadows ready to fight.

The Wild

The Wild has 3 voices you can end up with but I don’t think they influence anything. Correct me if I’m wrong. Other than that, super short and straightforward.

1-2 “A glimpse of freedom”
Look inward when prompted.

1-3 “Gaze into the heart of darkness”
Push The Wild to remember old hatred. Then gaze at the hatred in your heart.

1-4 and 1-5 “Separate doesn’t mean over”
Continuation of 1-3. Cut her free.

2-1 “Separate before ending it all”
Continuation of 1-3. Slay her.

The Thorn

If you managed to flirt with Witch a little after handing her the knife, you will be accompanied here by Smitten. Otherwise with Cheated.

1-5 and 2-1
Convince her to give you the knife, then slay her.

2-2 “She’s going to swallow it out of spite, isn’t she?”
Try to leave.

From 2-3 to 3-4 “Turn over a new leaf and learn to trust again”
Convince her to give you the knife, then cut her out.

3-5 and 4-1 “Kiss the girl”
If Smitten is with you, after cutting her out, there will be an option to kiss her.

The Cage – Slay the Princess The Pristine Cut Full Gallery Guide

After the Prisoner beheads herself and you leave for your reward, depending on who kills you and with what sentiment, you get different Voices in The Cage.

If you let Skeptic do the deed for you, Broken will emerge in The Cage.

If you slay yourself with your own hands, Paranoid will join you. If you insist that you are enjoying the Good Ending, Skeptic will eventually kill you and you’ll get Cheated.

The Voices influence whether you can throw away the knife at the start of this chapter.

Having Broken or Cheated with you will allow you to throw it away. If you have Paranoid with you, he and Skeptic will prevent you from doing so.

1-5 “You give me your implement. See? You already did that part”
Take the knife with you and drop it when stuck in chains.

2-1 “This is all getting so predictable, isn’t it? Pop.”
Take too much time being stuck in chains.

From 2-2 to 2-5

Continuation of 2-1.

3-1 “A peace offering”
Only possible with Broken or Cheated. Throw away the knife. When you get caught by the chains, eventually Princess will mention how you always come to her with it. Point out that you don’t have it on you.

3-2, 3-3 and 3-4
Continuation of 3-1. Climb back with Princess, and step into your freedom.

3-5 “All of that, just to take it all away. You’re cold”
Instead of stepping into your freedom at the top of the chains, choose the alternative.

4-1 and 4-2 “I cut myself free”
Only possible with Paranoid. When caught by chains, do not choose to attack her or wait for her move. Then try to cut yourself free. Repeat.

The Grey

Just do two run-throughs for the Drowned and Burned paths.

Happily Ever After

You will be accompanied by either an Opportunist or a Paranoid. Both have achievements related to them in this route.

To have Opportunist with you, take Damsel upstairs to the Cabin but change your mind on leaving and decide to stay there. To have Paranoid with you, start “deconstructing” Damsel until you are weirded out and decide to stay. The route otherwise is extremely straightforward.

1-3 “Deduce identity of the shadow with the help of a nervous voice”
Only possible with Paranoid. Attempt to stand up from the table, when Princess mentions “him”, ask to elaborate. When Paranoid deduces who is the shadow, you can address it directly.

1-5 “Finish playing a game with the help of a manipulative voice”
Pretty self-evident. Play games with Princess while Opportunist is with you.

2-1 “Keep the last flame lit. Forever”
A simple as it gets. Don’t let the last torch go out. This and slaying her at the table are the only options to unlock 4-4.

2-2 “An important part of me is gone, but I’m still here”
Let the last torch go out.

2-3 “It’s finally over”
Slay the Princess.

2-4 “Offer her your hand”

2-5 “There might be worse things than the end of the world”
Continuation of 2-4.

3-1 “Leave with her, hand not in hand”
Self-evident.

From 3-2 to 4-1
They danced.
