Underground Blossom Lab Update Guide – This is a new lab update and this guide will help you navigate it properly, we covered how you can unlock the lab update, Lab Fuse Map, and Walkthrough.

Unlock the Lab Area
Help for this is in the release video.
Go to Child Lane using the platform selection menu
Find the phone and dial 36133Listen and then head to the clock
Turn it to 2:40 and take the train
Talk to the janitor, he wants coffee
Take the coffee filter out of the pocket
Turn around until you find a box, collect the coffee and cup from it
Go to the coffee machine and take the kettle
Find your way to a close washroom and flush the toilet.
While the toilet is full of water, use the coffee pot to catch it
Return to the coffee maker and add all the pieces:

coffee filter
then coffee
Start the machine to get coffee
Return to the janitor and give him the cup and then the coffee
He drinks it and runs to the washroom
Grab his mop
Go to the washroom and collect the key from the janitor’s apron
Use it on the research lab door and we’re in the game!
Map of Laboratory Fuses
There is a fuse panel in the room to the left as you enter.
To unlock the door, you have to move the lock.
The map is oriented sideways so it’s a bit easy to get confused, so here’s a modified map for reference.
Walkthrough for the Laboratory
On the fuse panel, insert the fuse into the top hole
Exit the room, then go straight and through the nearly open door on the left
Proceed to get the glass from the ground and look straight at the vent
Stop the rotating fan with a mop and grasp the fuse inside
Take a mop with you
Return to the fuse panel and insert the fuses into slots 2 and 3
Leave the room, head straight through the door, and follow the path to an open warehouse
On the ground is the cipher for the container on the top shelf
Open the container on the top shelf for the key card
Before you leave, take the bike from the box on the bottom shelf
Exit the warehouse and turn left into the room with the prisoner
He wants out so let’s put that wheel on the wall next to him and spin it to free him
There is a dead mouse on the ground next to it, poke it to get a kidney
Back to the room with the fuse panel
Insert the fuse into the 4th and 6th slots
Exit the room and head out right through the door you see
Follow the path and at first, ignore the flask sign and go straight
There is another opening here, look inside and grab the matches
Leave the room and go left, this time following the flask sign
Insert the key card into the slot next to the door and enter
Check the desk drawers for toilet paper and floppy disk
Place the kidney on the tray on the table and the coffee pot on the table
Back out of the research lab completely and return to the washroom
Give the toilet paper to the janitor and back out
Go back and now the toilet is free again
Flush the toilet and collect water with a glass
Go back to the research lab and back to the room we opened with the card
Instructions for this are on the floor
Looking at matches, use it to turn on the burner and also for the water glass
Then pour coffee, then boiling water and acid over the kidneys
The kidney turns into a strange creature – poke it and it jumps off the table
Continue using the mop to poke him and go around to the room with the fuse panel
Place the fuse in the 1st slot and continue down the loop to the room with the vent
He jumps to his death by spinning the fan and goes everywhere
Go into the vent and grab the 3rd fuse in the back
Go back to the room with the fuse panel and insert the fuse
Put it in the 5th slot (so you should have 4.5.6 inches)
Exit the room, head right and follow the path to the cube door to see that there is a janitor here, all safe and sound.
Go left and talk to Rose
Rose enters the machine, presses the gray button, then the red button
Take the black cube from Rose
Go back and say hi to our janitor friend and ohhh noo… I’m sure he’s fine
Follow the trail of blood back to the prison and talk to Rose
Turn the wheel again to close the cell
Take the key from Rose
Just go after the blood toward the back of the door with the cube on top of it and insert the key.
Enter the room to see the cool Past Within device
Turn on the device with the lower right switch and the red switch
Place the black cube over the device and then insert the diskette to complete the update!
You get the Run, Harvey, Run achievement.
There is a secret message that can be used in The Past Within if you own it (you should buy it) 1935.
If you want to leave the area, go back to the entrance, and on your way out you will see 3:45 written on the board
Set the platform clock to this time and you will return to the children’s lane
I don’t think the lab shows up on the platform selector, you’ll probably have to set the time back to 2:40 to get back.
