House Of Chavez Walkthrough (Day 1 – Day 8)
Day 1
In this walkthrough, I’ll cover the required actions to progress the story, but there’s a lot more that I won’t mention.
I encourage you to explore the game for yourself. There is a probability that you will miss some of the descriptions and funny (or scary) cutscenes!.
The first part is fairly straightforward and full of in-game tutorials, so I’ll quickly jump to the action list:– Explore the roof to find the first clue.
– Right-click on the bag to reveal a key to open the door.
– Use the key on the door.
Once inside, examine the sideboard to get the photo of Marie and use the map to go to the graveyard. If you explore the tombs, you won’t find the right one.
So the solution is:
– Use Maria’s photo on the grave (any grave will work) to continue the story.
After the cutscenes, you will return home. Complete the “clean the web” minigame – if you don’t, you’ll lose the “Silke abs” CG, which would be a shame!
House Of Chavez Walkthrough – Day 2
Next, Silke arrives and there is the first choice that changes the relationship with Silke (as in mine
previous games, choosing the right answers will increase the relationship with the character).
Tip: Nice shorts.
Now you need to start a fire. Go outside, right into the shed, and click the switch to turn on the lights.
Once inside, grab the ax and go left, then left into the dark forest. There, you have a limited number of moves before the monster arrives, so if you want to get an achievement, just click on an element (if you die, you can reload the game from where you enter the dark woods).
Click on the rock on the right in the forest to get dry leaves. Then grab some twigs in the middle, to the left of the rock. Finally, use the ax on the wooden branch to get some wooden logs.
Return inside and place the three items in the fireplace (the order is not important) to proceed.
Examine the occult books, go outside, and try to move to the backyard to trigger a cutscene. Then you can access it.
Day 3
When you meet Silke, select “Test her” in the selection. Then go to the attic and clear it off the web (a prerequisite for the double date event).
Use the map and go to the library. Check out some books (random as you like) and talk to Luciana. Enter the archive, select any option for the dialog, and open the old computer.
FROM NOW ON ALWAYS GO AND READ THE NEWS ARTICLES EVERY DAY; INSTRUCTIONS ARE AVAILABLE.
Return to Chavez’s house and start the date. If you follow this guide, you can date both Silke and Dolores. But of course, you can also date just one of them.
Participate in Silke’s pub event (Silke only). Select “Maybe it was a mistake”.
Call Dolores for an ice cream party: Select “Argue with him”.
Select: “Which part of Germany are you from?” Then “How do you know?” Followed by “Who is Tofu?” And finally, “Comfort her.”
House Of Chavez Walkthrough – Day 4
In Silke’s first choice, select “What about the statue?”
Once in the attic, examine the box and old boxes to get a scarf. Examine the sockets. Go to the dining room. After the cutscene, examine all the photos on the right to unlock a clue.
Use the map and, as always, read all the articles in the library archive.
You can visit Dolores on the beach. Select the “Tickle Games” option.
Go to Sombromar enter the tavern and talk to Silke.
The cutscene will then continue with Dolores’ sunset scene, select “Look at her”. Complete the minigame, then hand her back her scarf.
Day 5
Go to the shed, and examine the cardboard box twice to get Hedge Shears and a Screwdriver. To the right (behind the ladder) pick up the shovel.
Use the screwdriver on the metal socket, open it, and find the pruning shears. Now go to the backyard of the house and complete the grass and rock clearing minigame.
Then use the pruning shears on the tree vines and hedge vines. Go back and select “You look more relaxed” after the cutscene.
Then go back to the shed and talk to Bruno. Go to Sombromar and select “I’m not sure I trust you” after the Dolores cutscene.
Then there’s a choice that will affect your romance:
– Tell Silke to go if you want to romance Dolores.
– Tell Dolores to go if you want to romance Silke.
In this guide, I will describe the main story event day by day and the choices for Silke and Dolores to reach a relationship of 100 (max).
Return home, find Bruno in the shed, and give him the package.
House Of Chavez Walkthrough – Day 6
Head over to Sombromar, then move towards the General Store
Go to Sombromar, then head to the General store.
As always, don’t forget to read the new library archives too! If you’re on Silke’s route, it’s worth talking to Luciana as well to unlock more clues about her.
For the SILKE route: go to Miramar de Santa Lucia, and examine the tree. Silke will appear and after the cutscene select “Never look back and regret anything”.
For DOLORES route: go to Playa and talk to her and select “Ask about the article”.
After getting lost in the hospital, examine the items in the abandoned room. Make sure to wait a few seconds for the fear value to drop. The most important items are binders and water pipes.
Also, examine the papers at the bottom left for a clue about Sergio’s past. Then return home. Go to the backyard garden and place the lantern.
For the SILKE route: Select “Ask the article” (you read articles in the library, right?). You will then find yourself in Silke’s house. Turn on the lamp and browse the DVD collection.
Then pick up the popcorn and start the scene.
DOLORES Path: After the cutscene, select the “Kiss game” option.
Day 7
Go to the hospital but it’s too early so you can visit your favorite waifu instead of waiting in the hospital.
For SILKE’s journey: visit her at the pub. Select “About Nightmares…”
For DOLORES route: head to the beach and select “When did you find out?”
You should have already reached 100 relationships with Silke/Dolores with the choices you’ve made so far!
Also, visit Miramar de Santa Lucia, and talk to Sergio. The old paper you saw in the abandoned hospital, give it to me, so you can get another clue.
Return home and if you continued reading all the articles in the library archive, you can now examine the group photo in the dining room to find a letter from Clara’s son Julio on the back.
Go to the graveyard, talk to Clara and give her Julio’s letter to unlock another clue.
Spoiler: doing Clara and Sergio’s “side quests” will also give you more time during the final part of the story when they attack Chavez’s house!
Go to the hospital, and after the cutscenes go back to the Playa to find Bruno flirting with Luciana.
At home, if you’ve solved the rune puzzle, you can now play the songwriting minigame. It’s worth doing to unlock a nice scene later.
The correct order of the songwriting minigame is: 1. Tonight I’ll Dream of You – 2. Reunited with the Memory of You – 3. Because One Night Just Wasn’t Enough – 4. Now I Just Want to Feel the
Touch – 5. My Mind is Racing – 6. Te necesito, y te quiero – 7. Cuando te vuelvo a ver? – 8. Oh, all I want is to feel you here – 9. He estado pensando en ti – 10. I promise to give it my all.
Now go into town and wait for Silke/Dolores at the fountain. Going to the hospital alone right now will result in death!
Once you’re in the hospital, click on “medical tools” to get a sharp object. Use it on the file cabinet on the right. Read the paper at the bottom right, then unlock drawers A-C and M-O.
If you followed the previous instructions and read the archive articles, you will find that both Silke and Dolores were in the hospital years ago.
In the room with the bathtub, explore everything until Garcia and Ramirez appear. The choice doesn’t matter, choose what you want.
Day 8
Talk to Bruno. Once he’s gone, examine the skull and bushes. Move back to the house to find Silke/Dolores.
For SILKE: Choose: “Should I worry about this bat-woman? choice.
For DOLORES: Select “Your presence is a gift”.
Take Bruno’s request by heading to the Kitchen
Return to Sombromar, then to the general store. As always, read new articles in the library!
Return home and give the croissants to Bruno. A date with Silke/Dolores will now be unlocked.
For SILKE: talk to her and then get in the car. Enjoy the love scene. To escape from a sinking car, first unbuckle your seat belts. Then open the center console. Grab the rock and use it twice on the car window. Finally, click on the car window and get out.
For DOLORES: Talk to her. Enjoy the love scene. To escape the burning apartment, open the bathroom door, grab the curtains, give them to Dolores, drag the improvised rope into the bathroom to soak him, and finally click on the rope to get out.
Once you get home, go to the backyard and end the day.
House Of Chavez Walkthrough – Day 9
DOLORES: Go to Miramar de Santa Lucia. You can visit Sombromar and the hotel first for some scenes, but they are not required.
SILKE: Go to Charca Serena. You can visit Sombromar and the pub first for some scenes, but they are not required.
Return home, when Luciana appears, select “No, she’s not here”. This will give you more time in the final scene.
After some cutscenes in the attic, examine the boxes. Use the scissors on the blanket on the right. More cutscenes. In the basement, examine the newelpost. Click on the wooden panels. The correct date is 05/17/1906 (center left).
Then click on the door that appeared in place of the cabinet.
Congratulations, you survived the Chavez House!
p.s. To get the alternate ending, simply keep the relationship with Silke/Dolores below 100 and unfortunately your waifu will die on the last day. The whole ending scene will play out differently because you find out she died. Sad ending beware!
Unlock the songwriting minigame
You can complete this puzzle from day 4 to day 6.
Check the mystery cabinet. Click on the table on the right.
Go to Sombromar enter the tavern and talk to Silke. Show her the old letter to get a clue.
Return to Chavez’s house, enter the house, and go up to the attic. Read a history book. Then right-click on the letter to examine and decipher it – simply click on the runes to translate the letter.
If you get it right, you’ll unlock another cutscene and now you can go back outside and the new “explore door” action should be available.
Rotate the runes correctly in the puzzle to unlock the cabinet.
Congratulations, you’ve now found the guitar and can play the songwriting minigame later!
