Supermarket Together Beginner Guide – This guide was created based on my experience and what I have also discovered during my gameplay.
Supermarket Together Beginner Guide
- To be clear, this guide may be outdated, as game patches and hotfixes are frequent.
- Players involved: 1-16 No manual save (you can find it at the end of the Guide)!
- I’ll try to update it when I have time OR patches change things listed If you see something wrong, please correct me in the comments so I can change it.
Main Menu
New Store – You can create your store here
Load Store – You can load your savegames hereJoin Store – You can join other players’ stores here (Public, or coded) .
Options – I think this is obvious (controls here!).
Right – you can select the language of the game Screenshots folder as a default (steam): …\Programfiles (x86)\Steam\userdata\NUMBER\760\remote/2709570 Save the file to the AppData – LocalLow – DDTNL folder
NEW STORE
Enter his name (others will see this name if it is public);
Set visibility (private, friends only, public) – notice with public settings, ppl are trolls;
Set the difficulty from 0 to 7 (0 means fewer looters so it is ez to make money, 7 seems unplayable because every second customer will rob you);
Click create.
Take care! You cannot change the difficulty of an existing save!
LOAD STORE & JOIN CODE
Select the savegame you want to play again; organize visibility;
Click Continue on Play.
You can share the join code of the Store with your friends, just press ESC and there is a “Copy join code to clipboard” button These are just numbers, just send them to your friends.
You can just share the code if you have completed the Tutorial! You cannot change the difficulty of an existing save.
JOIN STORE
You can join any Public store here;
You can use the Code window in the upper right corner to select the code shared with you (then click on Join);
You can refresh this window at any time if you click the refresh button in the lower left corner;
You can exit the “Join Store” menu and click “Back”.
IN-STORE – Maker Menu
— Press the TAB button to use the Builder menu. You can use it at any time, whether the store is open or closed
— IMPORTANT: You can only remove the object set by “Tablet” (Tablet not working? See the Tablet subcategory)
— In the Builder Menu, using “Place Mode” (look at the placed item and press the E button), you can move and rotate already placed objects such as shelves and freezers.
— Builder Menu – Place Mode (Move them with the “E” button, if you find a good location when moving an object, just press the “E” button again to place it in the selected location. Rotate through the object. Click after using the Left and Right “E” buttons).
— You can buy/install what is needed in the Builder Menu (List can be extended with patches).
IN-STORE – Franchise points
Voting Points and Voting Rights
If you do a Tutorial at game start you will earn franchise points so you can select a line and click on its icon to start unlocking it.
The first is “Basic Products I” This will give you money to buy additional products that you can sell to customers.
By earning more points, you can unlock more perks on the board, which means more items to buy/sell, labor, and other things like recycling a certain amount of money You earn points by increasing XP.
I have noticed so far that we earn XP for selling items and some complex things like repairing shelves.
Always check the franchise board and use the points you have.
IN-STORE – Supervisor Blackboard

— You can buy market-price items with the “Product Order” button, and you can name your Store and repaint.

— You can close it using the red X button in the lower right corner
Product Order
— There are lots of items and items here (you can only see one level for the first time) .
— You can see the following three types of color icons for objects.
RED indicates the number of shelves in your store
GREEN indicates how many you have in your warehouse
YELLOW indicates how many you have on the obstacles outside (you can pick them up and put them on the Storage shelves in the warehouse OR put them on the Product shelves in the store).
— To order more items, just select them and click the + button.
IN-STORE – Expand the store and warehouse

— You can find another Board on the left from the Franchise Board, there you can use in-game money to unlock more places (BLUE space: Warehouse; YELLOW space: Shop; I don’t know yet what is the pink place on it).
— Just click the correct button “BUY SHOP SPACE” or “BUY STORAGE SPACE”.
— Once you expand the shop, you may find that the next level is more expensive than the previous level.
IN-STORE – Tablet and Price Device
— You can find the tablet(s) and pricing device(s) in the manager room
— These items can be reset to their defaults if you return to the main menu and reload your savegame
— You can drop these Devices, just press F.
— How to use the tablet:
Put it in your hand, you will see some options, for example, a red X button and a light.
Using the red X button, you can remove anything you have added to the store.
Just select the red X and look at the shelf (EMPTY it! If you remove any items, these will also be deleted) and press the E button to remove them.
You may get some money back, but not the full value of the furniture.
To place certain features like lights, just swipe through the Tablet to get there, choose the best position on the ceiling, and press button E.

— You can place a “Hanging Banner” using a Tablet. These can be renamed and the background can be recolored.
— Place it in the correct location, and just click on the location of the cursor. There you can change the background color and put a name on it. Like in stores IRL.
— Click the “Change name” button to save it.
— Click the red X button to exit editing.

How and why to use valuation machines:
Why should I use it? I see that the prices are already on the product shelves.
You only make a profit if you don’t sell at market price, but raise the price (but you shouldn’t price them too high, because buyers won’t buy).
Market prices change every Wednesday due to inflation, so you should check the prices of all items displayed on the shelves.
How will mechanical pricing be used?
Pick one up and go to the shelf with any product(s), look at the product(s) easily, and scroll with the mouse – you can hold down button E to scroll faster.
When you select a value, just click Left.
IN-STORE – Broom
This section needs updating
— This is your best friend 😀
— Left click and tap the customer to see if they want to rob you. If you find items on the floor, you can scrub them so you get them back at their market value. Dispose of the F button if you do not want to use it.
— Also you can kill other players with a broom, and laugh ;D
— Sometimes there is garbage on the floor, you can remove it, Left clicking on it with a simple Broom.
IN-STORE – Shop robbers
How do I identify shoplifters? What can I do to avoid them?
— Shoplifters have a sign over their heads, and they run when they want to leave the store.
— You can start hitting them with a broom as soon as you see the sign.
In this case, all the items they try to steal fall out (don’t ask how 5 kegs of beer fit into a shoplifter… I DON’T WANT TO KNOW).
– As soon as the items fall to the ground, just click with a broom to retrieve their value.

IN-STORE – Items And Empty Boxes
Shop in Manager Blackboard (I already explained how it works above).
Where are my purchases?
These will be next to the street at the barriers. You can pick them up along the way. Left click to save to Warehouse or place in Product shelves.
How should products be loaded?
Grab a box with items, go to a Product shelf, find it, and use the Left click. You can click HOLD Left to speed up. To remove items or empty the warehouse, just grab the empty box and use the RIGHT click.
Do you have an item in the box but no more space on your product shelves?
Just place the box on the Storage Shelf in the Warehouse (Left Click).
What should be done with empty boxes?
Just throw it in a container outside the boss’s room
or cross the street throw it in another container and get some money back through recycling. Recycling can increase profits with a perk.
— You can also throw down filled and empty boxes, just press F.
IN-STORE – STAFF
— They’re good for you if you’re lazy, or have a big store and play alone.
— You can open them on the Franchise Board.
— You can order them to use Cashiers, Restock items on shelves, or move boxes of items to Storage shelves in the Warehouse.
— Use the Employee Services Committee to control them. If you set 0 to any activity, they will wait in Mana.
— A maximum of 5 employees can be hired
— At the end of the day it will cost some money, but it’s worth it.
My employees have been bugged, they don’t move, etc. What should I be doing?
Just restart the game. Yes, this is a common answer, I’m sorry but I don’t know the best solution yet.. :/
IN-STORE – Checkout (pay with cash register & card)
— Customers place items they want to buy on the conveyor belt. You just have to click on the “search for things on device” I don’t know how to say it in English.

— Customers can pay via credit card or cash.
— If paid by Card, just write the correct number in front of you (after the patch: now we can use Numpad! Thanks Devs, I LOVE U ♥) You can also use Numpad to set the correct price and backspace if you made a mistake
— If you pay in Cash and a cash register is used (right or left side, depending on the type you buy), set the appropriate exchange rate by Left or Right click on cash. The left click means add, Right click means remove in this case.
OPEN / CLOSE Shop [AUTOSAVE].
— Click on the Green button on the wall in the Manager Room to open the shop.
— The day will start at 08:00 and end at 22:30 (patched: if you arrive at 22:30, there are no other customers in the store, you can end the day and close the store by pressing the RED button on on the wall ).
— Pressing the RED button after entering the game at 22:30 will show you daily stats and MAKE AN AUTOSAVE!
You can’t manually save your game! You cannot use the RED button until 22:30.
NOTE:
— If you exit the game before the timeout and do not use the RED button to close the store, the session will not be saved!
